Tribute To Queen

Sometimes in  life

it’s good to look back

at the music of what had been .

 

Thats why I'm here in
Thirroul tonight

to see a band who 
tributes Queen .

 

I can still remember first
listening to

It’s a kind of magic and thinking

Bohemian Rhapsody was a
little bit tragic .

 

I was in love with  my car

so that song really meant a lot to me .

ll of the songs Queen did

fitted into a strange kind of Odyssey .

 

Now many years later

listening to the Queen
tribute band it seems, 

all the wild dreams of my youth

where summed up by

the music that was Queens .

There was only ever one Freddy, though a tribute is okay as just that. And why does all music now sound the same - just lame?

That's exactly the big problem .Scriptwriters and songwriters are being replaced by digital effects driven by plastic people in their ivory  business  towers with a view to killing time and making money .

There is a lack of inspirational pioneers today and tomorrows world is still looking for a place and a  direction where to go and music is still searching for something new in this closet existence of ours on social media .
