Life:
Dear Life, isn't it any wonder?
Life is filled with pain,
Pains that can be turned into powers:
When we realize and accept its necessity,
Acceptance has taken its toll and now erodes.
Like knives of pain, shuffles in losses and gains
cutting flames, living behind only what remains.
Cutting tides living to thrive that’s no jive:
An aging process in the human remains.
Oh! The joys of life, double take and think twice.
Through gritting teeth, gasping breath, of all that’s
left a smile between WTF: a transmission of grace.
You got it. Reaching for glory on the journey's end.
The release is remedied; through an agonizing
Survival instinct. Torch forged in experiential.
furnace perception: since life has faded enveloped in
a flower of illusion, and to think all your Net-Worth
Is going to fit in a coffin/crematory, modern-day
Tomb. Embrace the profound beauty in death
an exit into your true self, a spiritual being
Which ultimately shrinks into a conclusion.
How vain a thing, this life: so, it seems,
becomes nothing much less than an exercise in
Contemplation. Dear Life,
