Unanswered Prayers
“Of all the mysteries, of a mystery, why does it seem some prayers
goes unanswered”?
Why does it seem as though heaven has no replies?
To the sighs and tears, we cry prayers unheard of
The righteous? It can cause a weary heart to go astray.
cold and motionlessness at bay.
Meanwhile, evil continues to prevail.
No reply, no reply. Though life may appear as a costly.
Hell, that one goes through.
Hell to get to heaven. A chosen few.
Life has bestowed a costly gift, whose foundation is
built on pure hell, something you must go through.
Where the warfare rages in your dreams while you
Are awake. This battle is on every side:
Hope deferred makes one question God!
Though it looks like the results of one action,
Or karma factual.
But in times of testing, it's just the results of existing.
Once the healing began to cover those scars.
Those expectations readily ring true; now emptiness
and forsaken has crept into full view, filling all
spaces with the color blue.
Hostile, defenseless, bitter cold mechanism point
of view. What you refuse to believe is because of the.
pain has become so relenting from what was once
a vibrant relationship that has fallen desperately into
abandonment, and isolation, with only harassing demons for
Consolation: their point of view. Who knew?
That those prayers would become no more than
monologue, for a fresh response to a daily confession,
Request. To a sworn covenant at best.
Divine blinding promises that only you can dispense.
So you take a quote from the world.
Hope has died many times, more than all the wars
combined, and still to this very moment, continues.
So far relief hope in you has retreated.
Now we're crouched at the idols of a genie ATM
granting our every whim.
But a loving father, who cares enough when
He hears the cries of His children,
They say there's a forever thing.
Trying to hold on:
When the heart is breaking into a million pieces.
And then your prayers are answered.

All prayer is heard. We have
All prayer is heard. We have such incomplete knowledge of our needs and the needs of others. The when and how of answers we have to await, and realise they may be different to our perceptions of need. But we must pray and trust through the Lord Jesus Christ, Saviour. And pray to know His comfort and eyes of faith. Rhiannon
