We are born to die
within that murky truth we fly.
But inside we lie.
Wings of clay
carry us away.
People search for a god
begotten by a will to live.
Struth…..
they try to escape the truth!
Six million Jews….
Pogrom after Pogrom
century after century
against the Jews.
Srebrenica….
Syria and Iraq.
Covid.
Afghanistan and the poor lost Congo.
Thousands of children…
Disease and early deaths.
Peoples last lonely painful breath.
Psalm 98:3
“He has remembered His lovingkindness 
and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.”

Living lives with one lonely eye
cast upon a darkening sky.
Opening your eye’s to lifes banality
you know deep down
your going to be a casualty.
People trying to lead good lives
only to spiral and crash
as all around turns to ash.
So come twirl and dance with me
