For an un told period of time Alucard floated as if in a vacuum and was stretched and pulled by unseen forces. Every cell that made up his being screamed from this eternal onslaught that seemed to go on forever with no hope of ever coming to an end. Around him there was nothing, no sights or sounds just utter and complete darkness. The only thing he had were his thoughts and fantasies. Many times he felt that he would be pulled apart and destroyed but the excruciating pain continued. His very cells felt as if they were being stretched apart, floating separately through time and space but always being drawn back together. At one point a seemingly universal explosion took place and he was catapulted faster than the speed of light into the pitch black unknown. The explosion was so intense that it blotted out all sound. In front of him lay nothingness, behind light and heat that seared through the darkness.
Why was he here? What or whom had created him and for what purpose? These were just a few of the questions that tumbled through his psyche. He had nothing else to do but think, so think he did. He thought of how his life seemed so unreal and utterly devoid of any companionship. What would be the purpose of creating something that would be alone for eternity? He thought so much on this question that it literally made him attempt to go insane so he could forever escape this tortured state of being. Just when he felt he was at the end of his tenuous hold on sanity something began to happen around him.
The darkness in front of him seemed to begin to take on form and lights began to twinkle off in the distance. At first he was moving so fast he could not visually see anything more than streaks of different colored light but slowly things began to take shape. As he scanned what lay in his wake he realized that everything around him was being sucked into this celestial blender and spit out reformed and reconstructed. Nothing stayed as it was but rather became part of these new hostile worlds that were being born, and sometimes destroyed right in front of his eyes. The cells that made up his body were literally being torn apart and floated as a gelatinous blob until they reconstructed themselves, this happened over and over again. As he was reformed some of the space dust around would be incorporated into his being. Around him streamed and streaked particles, elements and combining atoms were slowly forming tiny bits of matter that combined and eventually large boulders, made up of floating debris and space dust, which became what are known as planets appeared. He had to fight to not become part of one of these newly forming masses of rock. On many occasions he would find himself trapped within one of these newborn celestial bodies and he would have to fight his way out destroying the pseudo-mother and watching the rocks and special particles that had made it up go shooting off into he distance and slowly being incorporated into another forming planet or star. This rocky, n newly formed terra firma attracted even smaller particles which formed into moons and other celestial bodies which rotated endlessly with their new partners and began to participate in a celestial dance through space and time. As these newly formed planets, stars, moons and space debris began to find their separate rotations and orbits the Universe began to come alive, pulsing and undulating in the eternal rhythm of life. The Universe began to drift outwards only being slowed by the creation of black holes which kept this disintegration in check. These black holes compressed matter infinitely and transported it to other parts of the Universe to be used as a type of celestial batter or putty. As these planets were being formed they were also undergoing assaults from space. Huge space asteroids and debris would slam into them sometimes they would be incorporated into the newly forming planet, but many times the planet would explode and send the elements that made it up back where they came from, space. These explosions were not devastating but rather the very life blood of the Universe. He spent many hours watching the destruction and creation of all that surrounded him. Without them there would be no necessary material to form and create new planets and stars. Many times he came so close to the newly formed celestial bodies he would think that he would be sucked into them by their gravitational pull and be destroyed. This never happened but eventually and extremely abruptly and without mercy he was deposited into the subterranean Earth, driven deep into the primordial ooze. As he streaked thought he earth's atmosphere his outer body screamed in pain and smoked and burned from the friction. No matter which way he turned or how he attempted to contort his body the searing pain was almost unbearable. The very smoke that flowed from his body fought to keep its hold on him.
One day he realized that his once warm, space-soft existence was now hot, hard and extremely uncomfortable. The molten rock that surrounded him much of the time would burn his flesh and sear his bones. The hot lava was seeping into every part of his body through every orifice. No part of his body could move. The life he had known before this seemed wonderful and easy compared to this grave like existence. Frantically he began to claw and squirm from this prison of rock, mud and slime. His fingers were worn down to nubs and would regrown when he would become exhausted and have to take a break. He would stare down at the bloody ends and watch as the flesh, bone and skin would recreate itself. The skin on the rest of his body was burned and scarred from the seemingly unending pressure and heat. This period was filled with nothing but pain and suffering. At this time his hunger for blood was almost all he could think of except for his constant companions; incomprehensible pain and suffering. He had no idea how long it took him to escape this hot, oozing, slimy grave. Many times he would pass through molten rivers of rock, water or poisonous gases, nothing killed him but he was extremely sick during this period. On many occasions he allowed the rivers of underground lava to move him through he earth to his desired destination, its surface. Some reprieve from this hellish existence was given when he would dig his way into a subterranean cave and he could rest in its cool, damp interior listening to the sounds of the forming planet around him. As he slowly clawed his way out he had much time to think and reflect on his state of being and what it meant. It seemed like it took an eternity, but finally he was breaking through he top most layer of the earth. The bright sun burned his eyes and skin. The virgin air that filled his lungs felt like the molten rock he had so recently escaped from, searing his lungs with every breath and he lay passed out for an untold amount of time. He lay on the damp sod sucking the sickly-sweet air deep into his lungs. What was left of his skin hardened against the sun and his eyes grew a protective layer over them. He must have looked like a heap of cinders and ash. The heat of the sun seemed to sear through his very soul. When finally he attempted to rise he found that the earth itself had tried to incorporate him into it. Mounds of grass, trees and other foliage had grown around him and through him. He had to rip and tear himself away from the very planet he lay on. He spent much of his time removing the imbedded roots and leaves from his body. The roots were very deep and many broke off and became a permanent part of this body. His first attempt at standing was less than successful. The body he was being forced to live in was bulky and very inefficient. When he attempted to stand it was more of a heaving motion which he kept attempting until he could rise up. At first his body screamed in sheer agony, demanding him to stop His knees snapped the first few times, grew back end he would try again. Very slowly he was able to walk very unsteadily. He forced himself to will his muscles to bend to his desires and do his bidding. But very quickly he learned to use it to its utmost potential. There were many falls and broken bones but he persevered knowing that one day he would be extremely powerful, if he could just reach that day. When he realized what powers he had of flight and incredible strength he practiced honing them to perfection. His first successful attempt at flight was incredible and seared into his memory as one of the few totally pleasant experiences of his lengthy life. He made himself shoot far up above the Earth and he gazed back down on his new home in awe. The thought of it brought tears to his eyes. It's constantly changing mountain ranges, rivers and land masses were much like watching a film in slow motion. He would turn from time to time and look out into the womb of where he had come from.
