Lying In Wait

  As the days pass by, i sit here and lie. I lie in wait, a change in fate. Overdue to life as to being so late, so is the life of a hopeless romantic.I sit here and wonder, but alas i can only ponder. Yet i see you around your words echo still, beating my drums with sound. As it beats i feel, while my heart races and pounds. This feeling expands till it bursts and goes out in blazes, my life passes by as i see throughout many faces. i sink till is see a white light then i see your face, saving me from the pain and sorrow of a dark abyss to a brighter day to a night of bliss.your words echo still and bring me to life, its your love that i strive. Overwhelmed is my state, my being, happiness to the point of which I've never seen. all i want is you by my side, losing you was a mistake i cannot rewrite, it pained so much it felt as if i nearly died. I pour out my heart and it spews, like water it flows and life fire it consumes. As my anguish diminishes, the rest of me rises above the darkness and flourishes. i was once broken and you've put me back together and instilled the final finishes. As the days pass by, i sit here and lie... No longer alone, not a sin to atone. I lay with you till the days become night, so scared i might loose you i'm stricken with fright, so instead just stay and be my dame till forever I am your knight. A champion to defend and protect, my loyalty will never defect. As long as I live I will never falter, my love will never be altered. just lay by my side till the days become night.
