this eden is beautiful

this eden is beautiful
let's build and build and build
icy grey skylines
tower tops
to see
to shout and croak for others to come
to bring thier tools to make things to crumble
new money choking the old world
preposterous wishes
diamond dreams
sparkling like late sun against square patterns of windows
let's invite our benefactors to lay pillarbox eyes on opportunity
to gasp far and wide at this paradise ours
that captured our souls as soon as look at it
we'll blink grasping notions
to have it, to hold it, to shape it, to mold it
a proof that we're the the boldest
in a race of winless whims
this eden is beautiful
let's lement, repent the first flash
remember former flora
and wood that fell
to make our first cradle
to hold future demise
which you could not see in our bright bright eyes
which now flicker with the the fires
and flames of ideas
let's live apart from harmony
because we've squeezed it to death
when comforts and contentment slip from moisterised arms
kicking dirt and leaves
to cover temporarily
betwixt hot sun and cold dark winter winds
the deepest pure breath
dumbed down to short coughs
splutters of diffused light
of which warm rays can still heat bones
declaring!
vibrations!
that were once
and still are here
... ... and when run down by progress and our bright bright bright future...
let's holiday away in someones else's garden
