THE TREE OF LIFE

Admire the tree so regal and proud
Standing alone yet surrounded with natures finest
Swathed in a blanket of golden majesty
Confident within shape of beauty to beholdIn fields of gold we walk and talk
Doubloons of Autumn be our backdrop
Picnic stops one and two to admire endless view
Soak up the warmth of sunshineMeandering river snakes through village and farm
Traintracks rattle under wheels of carriages
Far away seas lie behind and below us
Hills we have climbed to the top of the worldForego of future grab the present
All around us breathes colour of living
Locked in embrace speaks volumes of closeness
Take what we see before us together in life

Memories of the vastness of
Memories of the vastness of the view and the autumn beauty in its detail of 'doubloons'. At present it's the freshness of the green of the new leaves I've been delighted in.
'Tree of life' is biblical imagery of the source of eternal life, the trees around us give a sense of solidly coninuously producing their leaves and fruit.
