I suppose it's enough
Whilst days progress
And aches rest
An empty bath
Cries
I suppose it's enough
Whilst towns bustle
And rain hustles
Cheating the sun
Out of its place
I suppose it's enough
To want and not receive
Twisting and bending to deceive
Whilst meals are squandered
And lines are cleaved
I suppose it's enough
Whilst minor irritations flex
Muscles and alter reflex
I suppose it's enough for those around me
And not too much for other desires
I suppose...
