In her mind she’s trapped by thought
Of the stories where she fought
Giant spiders with big green eyes
‘They’re the windows to the soul’ she cries
She was there when the snow did fall
And the daffodils they stood up tall
Then blinded by the summer light
There seemed to be no end in sight
She took a cigarette out to smoke
Her thoughts debating as they spoke
The truth as she walked through the gated
Doors of that asylum she hated
But until firmly she stood on the track
Does she realise that there’s no going back
She closed her eyes and thought of heaven
Meeting that train at 1347
