Disassociation

My body numb,
My emotions stunted,
The mind shut down,
‘Help me’ I grunted.
The contributor, stress,
When will it end?
Are you real?
Or are you a friend?
Evasive manoeuvres?
I can’t decide,
In my mom
In whom i confide.
What to do
My body flails
All I feel
Ants under my nails
I hate this feeling
It causes altercations
And it is called
Disassociation.

Hi! This is brilliant. It
Hi! This is brilliant. It really chimed with me - I've been through this exact feeling very recently.
I loved the phrase 'ants under my nails;' it really vividly describes that itchy feeling of anxiety.

I think your subject matter
I think your subject matter is always interesting and brave. I admire that. Disassociation is a hard thing to convey too. I'm glad to see a poem written about it. Just to say, and it could just be me that I don't understand your third stanza, how the first two lines of it connect to the next two lines. Could just be me though. Rachel :)
