Train on a track

My mind races forward like a train on a track,
The seconds tick tock like a drum.
Some things you just can’t take back,
This being the ultimate one!
Thoughts pass through my mind,
So many I can’t count,
What would the world be like
If I wasn’t about?
The clickety clack on the railroad track,
The cold upon my face,
If I jumped would it be gone?
This racing mind erased?
I close my eyes and listen closely,
The whistle blows, its nearer.
Soon enough it will be here
My mind starts to get clearer.
The sky is dark, no stars in sight,
The moon is bright and round.
If I was to jump in front of this train
Would my body be found?
The thoughts of family steams through my head,
How would they all take it?
I can’t fight back, I can’t attack
These thoughts that I won’t make it.
The train is coming around the corner,
My mind tells me I’m dying,
I look into the clear abyss.
I have finally stopped trying.

This certainly builds a jeapody and is nicely paced. I hope the train brakes in time.
