When will this all end?

I regret the advice the government gave
Not to stock up on food and loo roll,
All of this hassle I would have saved,
When covid 19 came to call.
The isles empty, the rations gone,
Everyone feels the same,
At least that’s the feeling in my region,
The place from whence I came.
If only I had been quicker getting
Out of the starting blocks,
My actions I’m now regretting,
I should have sold my stocks
The market crashing, the shares plummet,
I’m going around the bend,
The power of this virus’s summit,
When will this all end?
A pandemic it is said to be,
No more social interaction,
As long as it doesn’t hit me,
We need a counteraction!
No vaccine has developed yet,
Our bank balance in crisis,
Our history will never forget,
The covid 19 virus.
