we're tossed into the chaos

and the currents run so swift

so easy to just give up hope

and give in to its drift

temptation leans on doorbells

opportunity just knocks

so fast my anchor holds me

so i don't smash into rocks

we're safe when near the shoreline

where the wicked tide can't sway

but forces often grab us

and insist we go their way

when i demand an answer

i am told to let it be

so fast my anchor holds me

so i'm not pulled out to sea

i see the lighthouse beacon

and its reassuring light

i have no reservations

that i won't survive the night

though danger looms around me

i'm kept safe by lucky charms

so fast my anchor holds me

when she holds me in her arms

Really liked this Moonfish, great rhythm to it. One suggestion, the use of "holds" in the last two lines, maybe change one of them?
