when the springtime came along
her flowers rising up in bloom
to sing a joyous song
.
her world was waking up again
the winter lost its grip
the bashful little blossoms
slyly through the grass would slip
.
the easter celebration
was the end of winter's strife
the land that once was dead
was clearly springing back to life
