BIBLICAL DAYS

he world created in six days ?
we've all heard that before
but did the hours in those days
add up to twenty four ?

some may say those golden days
stretched out for quite a while
and God took many eons
to create this world with style
.
we've been apart for three months now
we had but three short weeks
it seems like it's been ages
since we've had those little peeks
.
our days resemble building blocks
stacked up and reaching high
just to catch a glimpse of heaven
that is high up in the sky
.
that vision's growing clearer
our excitement's glowing hot
we're jumping over hurdles
what a battle we have fought
.
are hearts are tethered closely
and our faithfulness brings strength
as we wander through these days
that seem quite biblical in length
