i'd always had a fear of fire

i'd always turn and run

but you eased my anxiety

and showed me how's it done

we're brighter than the fire

that would consume us if it could

together, we are made of iron

alone, just made of wood

i'd cower in the dark

but you make such a lovely light

it makes things not as stark

of stares from minds that are quite dim
