EMOTIONS, THOUGHTS AND WORDS

emotions start out hazy
you've a sense that you've been struck
you're rocking and you're reeling
when your feelings run amok
.
but things begin evolving
and sensations end up caught
you grasp an understanding
and they turn into a thought
.
your mind will then divide them
into quarters, halves and thirds
that's when you take your pen out
and covert these thoughts to words
.
you toss those words around
until each one has found a home
emotions into thoughts
then into words, become a poem
