FULL MOON

at first, nobody noticed

then some eyebrows slowly raised

it seems our faithful satellite

forgot she should be phased

the laws we knew had vanished

newer order has been struck

the tides are in confusion

for the full moon is now stuck

she started as a sliver

then evolved into a ball

she should have started shrinking

but she has not changed at all

seems something's snagged the fabric

of the quilt of time and space

the werewolves are rejoicing

for the full moon keeps her face

could it mean that she is teasing ?

could it mean she wants control ?

is she mocking her dear mother

with her face so wide and whole ?

have the springs snapped in the clockwork ?

has the cosmos gone insane ?

astronomers are puzzled

for the full moon will not wane
