our bodies long for sustenance
until we leave this earth
be it flavorful or bitter
every tidbit has it's worth
.
we're crying out for honey
when our poisoned taste buds swell
morsels of sweet heaven
mask the sour taste of hell
.
our minds react to music
be it harsh or be it sweet
a lovely chord can override
a strange discordant beat
.
amidst all the cacophony
you'll sense a chiming bell
the hymns of joyous heaven
still the voices raised in hell
.
our eyes get large or smaller
when they're met by dark or light
the evening shares it's blindness
till the morning brings us sight
.
the glow from stars in transit
reach the dark depths of a well
glimpses of bright heaven
chase the shadows born in hell

Very interesting and well
Very interesting and well worked. Like the pic too, brings to mind John 1:51 with Jesus' reference to Jacob's dream (Genesis 28:12) Rhiannon
