i'll have a little home there
with a front yard all a-flame
a smoking red brick chimney
blackened mailbox with my name
 
i've lost my teeth already
cause i lived like trailer trash
but they'll provide some dentures
so my choppers, i can gnash
 
right now the devil's picking out
a pitchfork just for me
to perforate my tortured flesh
for all eternity
 
i should have read my bible
and i should have found the lord
the ship to heaven sailed away
and threw me overboard
 
a nice asbestos swim suit
is what i'm required to wear
when swimming in that brimstone lake
so popular down there
 
it's like july in winter
also summer, spring and fall
and on the devil's birthday ?
it's the hottest day of all
 
too late to say "i'm sorry"
and too late to make amends
but one redeeming factor ?
i'll be here with all my friends
