it's been a wondrous journey
but the route was badly planned
and how i made it up to here
i still don't understand
.
although, i lost my footing
never did i lose my mind
and now i see the rainbow
that the storm had rendered blind
.
i don't regret a moment
of the bad times i've been through
i wouldn't change a thing
to spoil this moment here with you
.
i never had a road map
i just turned to face the sun
took one step, then another
figured out how it was done
.
at times i stumbled backwards
i was sometimes lost at sea
but never thought of giving up
for that just isn't me
.
i may have missed rehearsal
but i showed up right on cue
i wouldn't change a thing
to spoil this moment here with you
