i thought i heard in stereo
mistakenly, not true
i only heard a single track
while swearing there were two
.
twas half deaf in life, previous
my ears now wholly clear
it takes more than one lifetime
to interpret things you hear
.
i thought i viewed the scenery
but that was not the case
eyes locked in tunnel vision
and i only glimpsed a trace
.
twas half blind in life, previous
my eyes now wholly wide
it takes more than one lifetime
to reveal the things that hide
.
i thought i was intelligent
i wised up to the fact
there was a lot of knowledge
that my poor mind sorely lacked
.
twas half smart in life, previous
my mind now wholly free
it takes more than one life lifetime
tell the truth ? it might take three
