it seems that life's a juggle
you have plates up in the air
when things start getting dizzy
it can leave you in despair
.
the monsters that have only lurked
advance on you, en masse
luck leaks through your fingers
like the dew slides down the grass
.
it seems that life's a journey
on a current, running strong
when things are wildly rocking
it seems everything is wrong
.
although you may recover
from your latest losing streak
luck leaks through your fingers
like a boat slides down the creek
.
it seems that life's a jigger
with a shot of potent brew
when things get soft and wavy
there's just one thing you can do
.
when paint has lost its luster
you must add another coat
luck slides through your fingers
like a drink slides down your throat
