november is penultimate
a month for giving thanks
to all our country's servicemen
who moved on up the ranks
.
we gather for the eucharist
a feast gets underway
but let us all be thankful
each and every living day
.
there's the matter of election
and it's said we have a choice
but feast or thanks aren't present
in the sound of either voice
