OMEGA ZED

the last soul in the universe
left sleeping in his bed
to view the plan of mortal man
is old omega zed

for endings are beginnings
not the other way around
for how can one, in earnest, run
not knowing where they're bound

an author starts a story
with an ending in his head
for every plot, the loosened knot
is old omega zed

for life revolves in circles
flawless evidence is found
the arms will grasp and fingers clasp
as things go round and round

and when the sun is setting
in it's glory, fat and red
you know the morn will be reborn
as old omega zed
