she truly loved her disneyland
and claimed it as her own
she found she spent a lot more time
in there, instead of home
.
the castle was her palace
and the train, her limousine
"walt still may be the king", she said
"but i've become the queen
.
she always kept her mouse ears
firmly fastened to her head
i've even heard a rumor
that she wore those things to bed
.
she'd often haunt her mansion
spent great moments with her abe
and grew so close to mickey mouse
that he would call her "babe"
.
she'd clatter down her matterhorn
and thunder through her mine
she'd splash right down her mountain
and she'd tour the stars, divine
.
she'd often sail with pirates
hit the road with indy jones
in winter with a cup of tea
in summer, ice cream cones
.
she'd spin around in teacups
sat with dumbo, trunk in hand
and flew to see the lost boys
that she'd found in neverland
.
down the rivers of the amazon
and nile, she often whizzed
but her friends planned intervention
for she'd truly overdizzed

This is brilliant Alvin, brought back so many memories of my trip to Disney Land Florida.

The pace and the rhythm and rhyme was just perfect too.
