when one perceives a rainbow
as finale to a storm
this scientific wonder
is a blend of hue and form
.
the sun strikes water particles
and as reflection bends
it rises in an arch
and into colors, it transcends
.
but you will see this rainbow
in a slightly different view
than what is being noticed
by the person next to you
.
for rainbows are unique
and when those colors start to play
each person sees the splendor
in an altered sort of way
.
but you and i are soul mates
when God's artistry is done
our visions are united
and we see it, as if one

Lovely poem, Moonphish.
I like the way it presents both a scientific and a spiritual view of nature as well as the magic of rainbows.
I love rainbows.

Have you been reading Bishop
Have you been reading Bishop Berkley, MP?
Soul is the most dangerous word in any poetic language because it's simply an abstraction. As is God, and moreso scientifically btw. Both 'sole' and 'its' on the other are not. And funnily enough you lose absolutely nothing by substituting both here.
please, just consider.
