happiness is fleeting
like rainbow that will bow
between the acts of raging skies
to give us hope somehow
.
storms will keep on haunting
mother nature gets her way
but sends her little children, hints
that things will be okay
.
though swirling winds of life
may knock you down and leave you blind
it can't erase the beauty
of the rainbow in your mind
