the prayers we lift each morning
will be warming as the sun
the day ahead we're smoothing
soft and soothing, fears undone
.
our hands we'll clutch together
summer weather, ours to share
with fingers interlacing
hearts are racing in our prayer
.
our hymn we sing sincerely
loud and clearly, known by heart
a work of great expression
we learn lessons from the start
.
our voices rising sweeter
as we teeter on the rim
with cries of exultation
there's elation in our hymn
.
we'll join in a communion
no confusion, born anew
with joy and fascination
dedication sees us through
.
with mouths involved in dances
taking chances, we are one
our minds now form a union
our communion has begun
