Alvin, I won’t mind writing in my sleep but honestly I don’t think I would want to read it. Never mind anyone else. Much of modern poets’ work is so incoherent disconnected and bizarre they might as well be asleep. “I wrote it too asleep” I do wonder!

though I do know sometimes ideas come when I'm 'quietly awake in the night', but have to write it down or often forgotten! has this anything to do with what Luke was writing on his blog about "‘The Tortured Genius’ and Yawning" on the Home Page of ABC?? Seemed rather odd!
