SOCKS APPEAL

my girlfriend makes my clothes for me
that little sew and sew
she makes me ties of every size
and shapes a mean chapeau

she makes me shirts with buttonholes
and pants to fit my thighs
she has a flair for underwear
her little bobbin flies

i guess i should not make a fuss
i know my girlfriend rocks
but sad to say i'm in dismay
she never gives me socks

i told her that i'm needy
and some socks would feel so good
she lifted brow and said not now
but in the morning, would

but mornings i'm still waiting
and it really makes me sad
i'm troubled deep and losing sleep
cause i want socks so bad

and i ask her so politely
to get out that sewing box
she will smile, say "not my style...
"i'm just not into socks"

so i guess i'll give up asking
so i do not raise a stir
the girl next door enjoys the chore
so i'll get socks from her
