a costume, meant to please
with lines and curves to misdirect
to titillate and tease
.
the fabric of your smile is pure
as beautiful as lace
the only makeup that you need
is sunlight on your face
.
some women like to paint their eyes
creating a cartoon
a vortex to draw men inside
and make them sing her tune
.
your eyes are an infinity
that time could not erase
the only makeup that you need
is sunlight on your face
.
some women like to duck and hide
create a new visage
a room they can redecorate
and then, within it, lodge
.
you have a gift from nature
you were blessed with style and grace
the only makeup that you need
is sunlight on your face
