oh wow, would that be great
i'd never have to hear you scream
when matters escalate

in churches or a library
you'd let those feathers fly
and no one would suspect a thing
or even bat an eye

a multitude of jabs and pokes
and deep sarcasm too
but just inside the cranium
and not for public view

and you would never hurt your throat
by yelling till its raw
a lovely thing for psychopaths
with things stuck in their craw

when decibels begin to rise
it makes an ugly scene
instead of shouting in my ears
just use the space between
