we thought we'd have a threesome

it's a thing we've done before

expanding our horizons

we shall waltz off to explore

upon the sands of gold, are we

the three of us comply

in touch with one another

just the ocean, you and i

we love things, warm and salty

with a current, bold and swift

a chance to dive and swim about

our spirits, sure to lift

immersed in its magnificence

all lost within the blue

so playful are the three of us

the ocean, me and you

we love it when the tide is high

encouraged by the moon

the rhythm of the lapping waves

as breezes play a tune

we romp along the shoreline

in its joyous majesty

as if in a cathedral

you and i embrace the sea
