TOMORROW RHYMES WITH SORROW

the rain that cleanses memories
seems so much different from
the storm that aims to devastate
the memories to come

each person's life is like a song
created from mere seeds
then from that seed a blossom grows
and captures what it needs

sometimes your finest moments
only keep the wolves at bay
tomorrow rhymes with sorrow
can i borrow yesterday ?

time, of course, just laughs at us
it needs us, not at all
for time's an endless coastline
we're a grain of sand, so small

the bells that chime at midnight
to the blind, sound just like noon
but yet they still are governed
by the phases of the moon

the ancient stars seem frozen
but in fact, they dance and play
