we call some people, pennywise

yet foolish by the pound

but nowhere in this realm

is any pleasure to be found

enhance your life with laughter

enrich your life with friends

we're dancing on a giant ball

and everyone attends

some twist with angst and worry

some waltz without a care

but when one's in the twilight

there's just one way to prepare

banks will crash and crumble

mighty castles torn apart

the treasures that will linger

are the ones inside your heart
