there were two lovely ladies born

in nineteen-twenty-one

you were one lady's granddaughter

i was one lady's son

though both departed from the earth

they lend their guiding hands

to keep us safely on a course

that fits in with their plans

although we didn't know their plot

we finally found the path

that turned our lives around to find

a happy aftermath

they still live on within our hearts

and will forevermore

thank God they were around for us

to help us find the door
