we boiled beneath the blazing sun
and shivered in the night
alone, afraid
a dark parade
with no strength left to fight
.
when down to our last shred of hope
we found ourselves in love
the angels cried
and then supplied
sweet blessings from above
.
the majesty of loving arms
the magic of a kiss
we're hand in hand
to find the land
of undiscovered bliss
