WATER FROM YOUR WELL

although we live in different states
our mental state is one
we'll rearrange out tangled streams
till victory is won
.
we are about to meet at last
although i've known you years
i'll kiss the teardrops from your eyes
and hug away your fears
.
like waters from converging brooks
we'll blend without remorse
though far from the horizon
we have settled on our course
.
i'll take you in my trembling arms
my heart about to burst
i'll taste the water from your well
to finally quench my thirst
.
a river will reflect the sun
the light of stars as well
and when we are together
how we'll feel our currents swell
.
your days of dread will fall away
replaced by joy and fun
i'll stop the rain that left you blue
and give you back the sun
