our souls and minds are intertwined
we wear each other's flesh
a suit of loving armor
with a strong but pliant mesh

our moods will mix to quickly fix
a nightmare that has cursed
our magical compassion
is a concert, unrehearsed
.
our bodies slide upon the tide
to ride the fiercest swell
the dart that pierces your fair heart
will pass through mine as well
