WHEN ALL THINGS RHYME WITH LOVE

all poets know it's hard to rhyme
the simple word of "love"
they often speak of objects
like the moon or sun above

or speak of love as gentle
as the cooing of dove
but that's about the end of it
when push comes down to shove

but when that poet is in love
it saturates their sense
and causes their vernacular
to grow until immense

the aura of true loving
is a warm and sparkling coat
which glows in brilliant colors
when the soul opts to emote

the poet will see wonder
in the most mundane and plain
like seeing little rainbows
in the dreary drops of rain

they'll always see the moon, half full
half empty ? not a chance
and find the lack of music
is a perfect time to dance

they'll count the blessings they've received
and not the times they fell
the glory that is heaven
circumvents the blaze of hell

they will not see polluted skies
but only stars above
yes, everything will rhyme with "love"
whenever one's in love
