I wore this shiny armour
Kept the plates clean
Made sure there were no cracks somewhere
Made sure I was protected

How foolish I was
Spending all this time
Protecting

Plate by plate
I dissembled
Let my skin breath
Let my heart beat

Leaving my skin unprotected
Become vulnerable
Easy to hurt

Leave it to my heart
To live
Taking care of itself

Finally lights get through
