Time for a Bath

Water was one of Andrews favourite things,
In the pool or in the bath,
Flapping like he’s got wings,
Water always made Andrew laugh.
Learning the alphabet with sticky wet letters,
Shouting the colours of all his boats,
The squirting duckies were far better,
But he likes anything that floats.
Washing his arms and legs,
Then his blonde hair,
Brushing his toothy pegs
The rinsing him off he couldn’t bear!
When it was time to get out
He loved his mickey mouse towel
A kiss for Mummy with a big pout,
Bye bye bath, he gave a scowl,
But body butter was next and that made him smile
From head to feet
With the body butter a giant pile,
He fell asleep, and it was Mummies defeat!
