sparkling glisten glittering heavens
starry skies starry night starry splendour
silver moon alone
beautiful moon deserted lonely pale
curtains open on my bed in wonder
out through the foggy glass
floating mirror above the trees
far in my window the friendly moon
pray listening softly a voice whispers
pray ask and hope and believe
mother's love
sends a kiss so quiet she's so pretty
slumber whispering
like a candle flame that flickers
soft light that quietly calls

peaceful night. Can you see
peaceful night. Can you see the stars where you live? We can somewhat, but quite a lot of light pollution. I'd love to go out into the deeper country on a clear night sometime, memories of the milky way clearer in childhood. And my daughter spent a winter up high in the alps and said the stars where like dropping damonds in the sky. Rhiannon
