lost whispers of love

where you so deep and far sink away
grieve where you are so far from me
far in deep sleep quiet slumber
sickness lost hope forsaken and forlorn
such as a loved one prisoner
or far away at war a soldier unknown
roaming strange lands vagrant alone
bleak dreamlands haunting silent stillness
depths in darkness dusk and shadow
sunless mourning in dark sombre sorrow
you as under poison and spell deserted
calling to you hoping awaiting return
your world without music song or sound
whispers of my love will touch you
weeping fearful deaf and abandoned
silent silence
far in your prison hear me so far from me
my love is strong my voice will reach you
caring lonely longing waiting
the evil hold to break your quiet to wake
my darling to you i call hear my comfort
your troubled sleep
suffering heart and agony to ease
i adore you always, always will my dear

our love can only reach so
our love can only reach so far, and can feel so helpless to help a loved one through sorrow or sickness. Our love can also illustrate something of the love of God, I suppose, and so we show it and pray in love.
silent silence is effective.
