Claims Direct

Dear Sir,
I wish to know if I can make a claim direct against my ex-employer. I
am skint, as I now have no job, so a no win no fee offer is just what I
am after. The reason I have no job is because I had to leave due to the
humiliation I suffered in front of my work colleagues.
It happened like this.
There I was, busy as a beaver, working away, thinking of how wonderful
my life had been going. Then all of a sudden the fire alarm sounded (as
a routine check I later discovered). There was no warning beforehand
and because I was located right next to the bell it startled me
tremendously. It really made me jump I tell you. So much so that this
also caused an irregular and unexpected bowel movement. And yes, I
actually followed through and messed my Calvin Klein pants (rrp
?19.99). You may find this incident funny, but believe me it was runny,
and as you can imagine it leaked through to my jeans, (Levi 501
rrp?59.99). There I was, walking like John Wayne with a very red face
and smelling like a sewer. I had to make my way past all my work
colleagues and take my place at the evacuation point.
I was ridiculed and taunted for the next few months until finally I
could take it no more and had to leave.
I feel that I am still suffering from the mental scars I received due
to this incident not to mention my ruined career, pants and
jeans.
Would you please inform me as to weather I have a case against my
former employer. Surely a warning should have been announced before
testing the alarm.
Yours truly,
