A thief's intensity, scattered yet sharp
Barbs that wound an unkempt heart
Fettered with kisses and missing 'phonecalls
With rum we toast a lover's pall
How long the jerk was anticipated
Groomed by mind and need of love
Arrived exhausted, passion wasted
Atrophied, dregs in trough
Stolen thoughts from within the maze of fear
Deny the peace once held so dear
the rum is cheap and sickly distasteful
Devouring the liver, filling the hull
But to ride the waves is love, of a sort
Two shipwrecked mariners on a desert resort
Arrived exhausted, passion wasted
Atrophied, dregs in troth

Great read paborama. I
Great read paborama. I enjoyed the use of words in this. Dregs in troth and filling the hull especially.
