All was lost, as Jimmy had found
His family at sea, and all had drowned
And he was to live with his Auntie Emma
his Uncle, George and his cousin - Gemma
They welcomed Jim with a bucket and mop
said, "your dinner's there, just pick- up the slop"
Jim was chastened and heartily hungry,
He gobbled the spill and was sickened and sundry
He lived as such till twenty-one
When, thoughts of freedom finally gone,
His family returned to Gullible Jim:
For they had only been teasing him.
