Life viewed with a helping of autism and a pinch of neurodiversity.
The world passes me by.
Blurring and shifting.
Like horses on a carousel.
Round and round.
My mind is my castle.
I go to different places
Every night.
My castle merges with reality.
I wish upon a star
Astra centuri to be precise
I wish and I wish
That things will get better.
The grass is green.
The sky is blue.
I wish you understood me
As much as I try to understand you.
Trees scrape the sky .
The rhythm of my heart dances.
My music blares.
My ears tingle and my brain smiles.
The grass is green.
The sky is blue.
I cant wait till people accept me
As much as I accept you
My heart stomps
To an 80s theme tune
Dancing on my favourite star
Surfing on the rings of Saturn.
The grass is green.
The sky is blue.
I love you.
I wished you loved me too.
I don't want to be alone
I know what I know
Next year is a long way away
The fire burns.
The grass is green.
The sky is blue.
Why can't I fit in
Just like you can do?
I look out the window
My life looks like a production
I jump over clouds
To land in puddles.
The grass is green
The sky is blue
I wish you could imagine my struggles
As much as I can do 2 times 2.
Its like I'm screaming silently
My tears form my puddles.
My heart trembles.
My brain shakes.
The grass is green
The sky is blue
I am me through and through
Can you say the same about you?
The grass is grey
The sky is no longer blue
I hope you will accept me
As much as I accept you

Welcome from me too. There is
Welcome from me too. There is indeed some beautiful imagery in this, and that refrain about acceptance works so well in bringing the reader back to the main theme. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
